As a Talent Sourcer, you will be reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition and supporting our growing Talent Acquisition team on hiring needs across the organization. You will own the beginning stages of the recruitment process by leveraging your creative sourcing skills to form and execute a successful sourcing strategy to build a high-potential pipeline of technical and non-technical candidates that represent a variety of cultures, backgrounds, and identities. You will be an expert in using various channels such as networking, database mining and social media channels to identify talent and ultimately convert passive talents to active and engaged candidates.

- Develop and execute sourcing plans to proactively identify and recruit top talent and own the candidate pipeline.
- Collaborate closely with recruiters, coordinators, HRBPs and hiring managers to develop a search strategy, construct target lists, identify top tier prospective candidates for hard to fill roles across Leafly.
- Conduct pre-screens and interviews with current & passive candidates and create talent pools.
- Research and uncover top talent using creative methods and sources (more than LinkedIn)
- Build and maintain candidate pipeline using innovative methods and sourcing tools to meet hiring goals.
- Utilize creative reach-out methodologies and increase talent pipeline conversion.
- Stay in-tune with the activity in various markets (start-up, marketplaces, tech space) and educate business on learnings in order to effectively strategize.
- Manage candidate pre-funnel processes to build strong relationships and ensure a positive experience.
- Provide weekly reports on your sourcing activity, success, challenges, and insights to hiring partners at every level.
- Maintain a high-pace of activity to ensure end goals are met.
- Share knowledge with recruiters and team members on sourcing best-practices, new tools and technologies, and recruiting tactics specifically aimed at passive talent.
- Participate in career fairs.
- Other ad hoc projects assigned by your manager.

- 2-3 years of recruiting experience with a focus on sourcing and pipelining talent
- Proven track record to source highly qualified talents across U.S
- Command of Boolean search and ability to utilize search engines.
- Proven success utilizing creative sourcing methods to generate candidate pipelines within aggressive timeframes
- Proficient with direct sourcing through job boards, social media, resume databases, professional networks and other channels
- Demonstrates out-of-the-box thinking when it comes to proactively attracting talent, sourcing and building a talent pool
- Ability to understand relevant tech skills, target companies, conferences, open source communities
- Ability to quickly and efficiently source high quality talent
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems such as Paycor is an asset
- Demonstrated strength in juggling competing priorities and moving forward in ambiguous situations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency
- An ability to multitask in a very fast paced, ever changing environment

- Experience with sourcing for diverse talents is a strong asset
- Proven track record of sourcing technical roles
- Experience hiring for various technology stacks and engineering roles
