In August of 2019, Grassdoor opened its first licensed delivery hub in Commerce, California and now operates multiple hubs to help facilitate statewide, same-day, Cannabis delivery. Aside from being one of the largest Cannabis retailers in California, Grassdoor also offers its infrastructure of hubs, delivery drivers and technology (i.e., Delivery as a Service) to help brands, marketplaces and competing Cannabis retailers provide a best-in-class e-commerce and delivery experience to their respective customers.


**The Delivery Driver Supervisor will play an impactful role and serve as a liaison between the business and the company’s delivery drivers. The role will have direct daily contact with drivers, monitor patterns and trends, review and uphold performance standards, and maintain driver happiness.

**Key Responsibilities


  • Be on-site at the hub on a daily basis to ensure driver needs are met
  • Understand and upkeep driver metrics
  • Understand and approve driver timesheets
  • Understand and upkeep discrepancy issues
  • Assist in upkeeping driver vehicle documents with the Safety & Compliance Coordinator
  • Assist in driver onboarding and training
  • Assist with driver initial departures
  • Assist with driver outreach
  • Assist with department projects
  • Serve as a back-up delivery driver when needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned


****Qualifications and Experience


  • 2-3 years managing hourly nonexempt staff in a 365 environment
  • Passion for delivering high-quality customer service
  • Valid CA driver license for a minimum of 2 years with clean DMV record
  • No major traffic citations or incidents in the past 5 years, no more than 2 moving violations and one at-fault accident in the past 3 years
  • Working vehicle, registered to you, less than 15 years old (no trucks, vans, motorcycles, or convertibles)
  • Delivery-specific vehicle insurance, in your name, that is state compliant and covers cannabis delivery
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to listen well and communicate effectively, orally and in writing
  • Ability to assist with driving when needed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Travel may be required
  • 21 years of age

**Physical Requirements/Working Conditions


  • Primarily work in an office environment

  • Repetitive hand motion with keyboard, mouse, handwriting, and filing
  • Ability to frequently stand, speak, and hear
