What We Are Looking For In This Role

At Leafly, we are always looking to strengthen our culture by adding the best talent to our team. We’re seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to help us source, identify, screen, and hire talented individuals for all roles in our company.

The Sr Technical Recruiter will be responsible for the full cycle of the recruitment process. Working in a fast-paced with high growth company, you are expected manage multiple workflows on the go. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal & excellent communication skills with the ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicant pools. This role requires a candidate with excellent customer service skills to build strong relationships with internal clients & stakeholders.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage end-to-end full recruitment life cycle for all corporate roles including sourcing, conducting screening & managing candidate pipeline.
  • Develop and execute sourcing plans to identify and recruit top talent, owning the candidate development process from identification and engagement to offer extension and closing.
  • Manage candidate hiring processes to ensure a positive experience
  • Partner with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand unique talent needs.
  • Participate in candidate debrief discussions and help interviewing teams reach the best final hiring decision.
  • Work with our Recruitment Coordinator to schedule interview and gather timely feedback on candidates.
  • Participate in the development of an ongoing optimization of the recruitment process
  • Provide weekly recruitment analytics, tracking candidate pipelines, quality of hire, time-to-fill, etc.
  • Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn, Indeed and other job boards.
  • Work with Hiring Managers to create job descriptions, postings and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position.
  • Organize and attend virtual job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Keep records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes, candidate summary and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders
  • Other ad hoc projects assigned by manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-7 years of recruiting experience with a focus on technical roles
  • 5+ years experience in filling Technical roles such as Software Engineers, Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, etc.
  • Good understanding of technical languages
  • Proven success utilizing creative sourcing methods to generate candidate pipelines within aggressive timeframes
  • Familiarity with direct sourcing through job boards, social media, resume databases, and professional networks
  • Out-of-the-box thinking when it comes to sourcing, candidate management, and candidate experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to help hiring managers resolve resourcing challenges
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems such as Paycor is an asset
  • Experience in using LinkedIn Recruiter to proactively source candidates
  • Demonstrated strength in juggling competing priorities and moving forward in ambiguous situations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency
  • Passionate about recruiting exceptional people
  • An ability to multi-task in a very fast paced, ever changing environment
