PRODUCTION SCHEDULER
Reporting to the Manager, Supply Planning, the Production Scheduler will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing schedules and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. The incumbent will ensure best practices in supply planning, inventory planning, and monitoring manufacturing capabilities to ensure growth demands are met. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working closely with the site teams, maintain, optimize, and communicate detailed quality manufacturing schedules
Collaborate with Material Buyers to ensure material are available to support successful schedule adherence
Review long-term forecasts to identify and mitigate possible capacity or material issues and recommend and execute appropriate action
Prepare and maintain progress and other reports including KPI's
Analyze and resolve scheduling issues that cause production delays
Work with 3rd Party manufacturers, determining and communicating requirements and facilitating successful schedule adherence
Monitor scheduled run performance and implement improvement to support achieving run rate targets
Maintain and update Bills of Materials where needed
Collaborate with Product Innovation on new launches
Document processes, flows and instructions, utilizing good documentation practices
Comply with GMP's, SOP's and other company processes and policies
Comply with Company safety program and create a culture of safety and teamwork in the manufacturing department and throughout the facility
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Pharmaceutical, food or similar manufacturing experience preferred
Experience working in a regulated space
Advanced knowledge of computer software applications, with proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word & PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with complex data in an environment of ever-changing deadlines, priorities and requirements
Ability to problem solve individually and as part of a team
Accountable for results, strives to meet and exceed expectations
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Business Admin - Supply Chain Management or related field such as Industrial Engineering
2-5 years Supply Chain experience
