About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Logistics to join our Logistics team. As a Senior Manager, Logistics, you will be responsible for leading a high performing team of managers, planners and analyst that will ensure departmental and organization objectives are achieved.

The Senior Manager, Logistics will leverage their operational and strategic expertise to lead delivery and fulfillment services functional areas with the overall goal of seamlessly facilitating the flow of inventory and information from suppliers to OCS retail and online customers. The Senior Manager, Logistics will be key in the oversight of subcontracted service providers, operational financial expenses and financial audit and controls. They will also support the planning and execution of strategic priorities as well as continuous improvement initiatives.

About Your Day

  • Proactively develop internal and external relationships by making efforts to listen, understand and support their business needs

  • Establish and cultivate collaborative relationship with 3PL Service Provider

  • Collaborate, anticipate, and provide solutions giving high priority to internal and external business needs satisfaction

  • Maintain and improve fulfilment and delivery KPI’s to improve flow of product and information subject to a balanced cost-to-serve model

  • Develop standards, procedures and understanding what to measure and control to keep the organization running smoothly

  • Translates new and proven ideas into workable solutions

  • Champion process improvement ideas and people to get results by using a variety of resources effectively

  • Lead development of logistics financial foundations responsible for budgeting, forecasting and audit controls

  • Participate in the strategic planning process supporting developing and monitoring short- and long-term business initiatives aligned with OCS objectives

  • Establishing high performance goals, coaching, training, and evaluating for maximum performance

About You

  • Post-Secondary Education in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • 5+ years of experience in either Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or Business Completion of a professional supply chain certifications; Ex. Certified Supply Chain Professional

  • Completion of a professional supply chain certification(s): Ex. Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), Retail Supply Chain Certification Program (RSCC), Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) is preferred

  • Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills to provide professional analysis and recommendations

  • Strong technical and analytical skills (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

  • Experience with preparing presentations for the Leadership teams

  • Strong communication and collaboration to work across all levels of the organization including senior management and the senior leadership team

  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines

  • Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, especially Microsoft Excel

Remote Work

  • This position offers a Hybrid work schedule. Effective 4 April 2022, you will be required to be in the office 1-2 days each week, with the ability to work from home for the remaining workdays (subject to specific business needs requiring office attendance)

  • Currently, our office is open and available to use but it is not mandatory to be in office until 4 April 2022

  • When working from home, a reliable internet connection is required. Remote work is supported with cloud-based applications and collaboration tools (i.e., MS Teams)
