Job location: Anywhere in Canada (remote opportunity)

It’s grow time, and we’re looking for a dynamic professional to plant their roots with us as a Senior Manager of Commercialization (Recreational Innovation – 12 month contract). Reporting to the Senior Director (Brand Marketing), you will collaborate with our team to inspire innovation throughout all levels of our organization. You will own all aspects of product innovation by defining, planning, and transforming our ideas into innovative product pipelines that will enable our success in the market. You will leverage both your creativity and problem-solving skills to build successful innovation channels across our organization and here’s how you’ll do it…


As a Senior Manager of Commercialization, you will…


  • Lead all aspects of project management, from integration to implementation, for commercial innovation pipelines and other critical projects including new and existing products
  • Partner with teams across the organization, including Sales and Marketing, to manage innovation agendas and delivery of initiatives, develop project plans, scopes, and redirections, and troubleshoot issues
  • Liaise with business stakeholders and management to ensure successful outcome of innovation channels by acting as the lead contributor, communicating decisions, and providing project updates
  • Monitor and track periodic presentation of Innovation Pipeline Status, Delivery & Risk to Senior Leaders/Executive(s)
  • Deliver and improve a significant number of SKUs across multiple product lines and manage existing Stage Gate processes


You will be successful in this role if you have…


  • A minimum of seven years of experience in a program or project management capacity with PMO or Stage Gate frameworks (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
  • A PMP designation (or equivalent certification)

  • Prior work experience in the cannabis industry or supporting process improvements or product innovations
