Job Summary
We are looking for dedicated individuals with a farming background. Individuals will bring skills and knowledge in sustainable vegetable production, hemp and cannabis and a strong motivation to enhance our practices and refine our systems to become more streamlined and efficient.
In the early spring, the field crew will work to seed and transplant our crops. In the summer, our crew will work to harvest, wash, and pack our CSA shares and prepare for markets.
Farm work is inherently variable and multifaceted, requiring farmers to be flexible, creative, and motivated about the task at hand and changing conditions. During the season, work at MSF can be fast paced and changes quickly.
Responsibilities & Focus
The field crew’s primary responsibility is to work with our team to plant and harvest vegetables, hemp and cannabis.
Arrive at the farm each day at 7:00 AM and works until 4:00 PM

Qualifications & Skills
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Able to lift up to fifty pounds repeatedly each day.
Ability to meet the physical and challenging environment demands.
Enthusiasm and energy for our outdoor lifestyle.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Heaping dose of humor, positivity, and good spirits in the face of challenges.

Education / Experience
Experience in field work on a large, diversified, organic, vegetable farm, hemp or cannabis will be best suited to the position, but not a requirement, we're happy to train the right person!
Knowledge in sustainable vegetable production is preferred.
Motivation to enhance our practices and refine our systems to become more streamlined and efficient.
Able to find solutions to problems independently and efficiently.
High School diploma or equivalent.
