Sanitation Assistant – Cannabis Company

Pincanna is a vertically integrated cannabis company with headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Pincanna has a 135,000 square foot cultivation and production facility in Pinconning, Michigan, a retail location in Kalkaska, and planned retail locations throughout Michigan.

The Sanitation Assistant assists the Facilities Sanitation Lead and the Sanitation Department in all aspects of the facility’s janitorial needs, including cleaning duties, keeping the facility stocked with supplies, and responding to urgent situations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operations:

• Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish from all departmental areas of facility

• Cleaning restrooms and keeping them stocked with supplies

• Use approved methods and materials in cleaning and caring for assigned facility

• Operate floor equipment such as auto floor scrubbers and vacuums

• Empty trash receptacles

• General cleaning of furniture, windows, windowsills, and restocks restrooms, janitorial closets, and break rooms

• Setting up and cleaning up after scheduled events

• Locking doors and securing rooms and buildings as required

• Responds to urgent situations under the direction of the Facilities Sanitation Lead, such as spills, that require quick action

• Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School graduate or GED

• At least 2 years of experience in a sanitation role

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Must pass background checks.

• Must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.

• Must be able to lift or push items weighing up to 50 pounds (22kg).

• Must be able to stand, bend or sit for extended periods of time.

• Must be capable of frequent and repetitive hand movements.

• Must be able to bend, squat, crouch, kneel, and walk intermittently throughout the day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.25 per hour
