Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Kiaro is an independent, omni-channel cannabis retailer and distributor. With more than 70 years of collective retail and wholesale focused experience, we are driven at Kiaro to introduce new and experienced consumers to a lifelong exploration of cannabis.

Through existing storefronts across British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Ontario, and with the completion of the recent acquisition of Hemisphere Cannabis from Aegis Brands, Kiaro has 16 stores. This is in addition to its wholesale distribution division servicing Saskatchewan, and ecommerce sites in Canada, the US and Australia.

We have BIG plans to continue our growth trajectory through our consumer-centric retail, ecommerce, and wholesale distribution segments over the coming years...Here is where you come in!

The Sales Consultant is responsible for guiding our customers through their retail experience by providing a world class customer service experience. They will help to create a comforting environment for each customer by creating a unique experience tailored specifically to each individual customer. The Sales Consultants will build rapport with their customers, understand their needs, and deliver value by asking questions and educating each customer throughout their experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist in maintaining the back stock room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor
  • Develop solutions for customers by listening to their needs and recommending the appropriate products
  • Greet customers as they enter the store and help them to find the proper team member to assist them
  • Utilize the company’s POS system to cash customers out or administer returns
  • Collaborate with other team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized at all times

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

  • 19+
  • Selling it Right Certification Required
  • 1 - 2 years of retail sales experience
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends
  • Familiarity with POS systems
  • Excellent customer service track record
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of cannabis strains, products and accessories is an asset
  • Demonstrates accountability, collaboration, courage and creativity in day to day operations
