About the Job:
The primary responsibility of this role is to actively coordinate the efforts of and assist Retail department leadership team members with planning and executing meetings, travel / site visits and departmental events, as well as helping to manage, organize and maintain departmental materials libraries, data and systems.

  • Coordinate and assist in managing the calendars and schedules of retail senior leadership, especially the VP of Retail
  • Assist in travel planning and arrangement as needed to ensure coordinated and efficient travel planning by Retail leadership
  • Coordinate and schedule meeting times that are set for appropriate and achievable times and for adequate time with proper attendees
  • Prepare agendas for management meetings, attend meetings and follow up on / track resolution of action items
  • Take notes at meetings as requested and circulate meetings notes with actions items to participants
  • Track meeting action items and ensure proper follow-up, providing regular updates to the VP of Retail
  • Work with Business Intelligence to obtain any specialized reports that may be requested by retail leadership
  • Assist with the opening of new stores as needed
  • Liaise with other departments on retail related issues
  • Draft reports or presentations as directed
  • Work on any retail-related special projects
  • Maintain knowledge of the market industry and competitor trends
  • Assist with monitoring social sites to ensure menu optimization, deals are posted, and reviews are being managed
  • Accomplish all tasks appropriately assigned or requested
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Physical Requirements of the Job: LIGHT OFFICE LIFTING. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 25 pounds (up to about 50 pounds with assistance), may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching. Ability to tolerate moderate to loud exposure to noise level. Exposure to long periods of bright lights. Long periods of prolonged use of office equipment including computers and phones.

About You: 

- Regulations require that incumbent be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain state marijuana work credentials.

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a departmental coordinator or executive administrative assistant or similar coordination or assistant role.
- Prior experience in the cannabis industry a plus

Technological Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to quickly learn and use other software systems such as travel tools, note taking tools, reporting systems, expense reporting applications, issue ticketing management systems, etc.
