LeafLine Labs is one of two registered medical cannabis manufacturers in Minnesota. We focus on using controlled environment agriculture to produce various strains of cannabis that is turned into extraction-based medicine. As a member of the pharmacy team, you will support the team in the dispensing of appropriate cannabis-based medication to patients.

Minnesota law requires that any employee of LeafLine Labs be 21 and free of any disqualifying felony convictions. Prior to beginning employment with LeafLine Labs, every employee is legally required to submit to a background check conducted by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. We are seeking a Part-Time Pharmacist to direct and manage the dispensing of cannabis products to the patients of our Saint Paul, MN dispensary.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares orders for cannabis-based medications; detecting therapeutic incompatibilities.
  • Controls medication prescribed to patient by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions.
  • Teaches patients and caregivers on how to properly use the cannabis-based medication that is prescribed to them.
  • Reviews all laws and regulations both within the state and the federal cannabis regulations with patients and/or caregivers.
  • Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals; counseling patients on drug therapies.
  • Complies with state laws as regulated by the Office of Medical Cannabis.
  • Complies with Leafline Labs standard operating procedures.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

  • Current Minnesota pharmacist license in good standing
  • Residency trained with 1 additional year of professional pharmacist experience, OR 4 years of professional pharmacist experience

Additional Requirements

  • Must pass any and all required background checks
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
  • Must possess valid driver's license
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry
