Full Job Description

The Patient Consultant is responsible for assisting and consulting patients and caregiver visitors to the dispensary, as well as other dispensary operational activities as assigned by management. As the front line of the business, the Patient Consultant ensures that all operations are run in accordance with management's policies and procedures and that any issues of patient care, legal compliance, or violation of company guidelines are properly communicated to management.

Responsibilities:

Assist the General and Assistant Manager with the store opening/closing and the accounting of cash

Act as a resource and lead to the Management staff and the team of Patient Consultants in the dispensary

Assists customers in the retail location in accordance with the Company's mission, vision, goals, and objectives

Follows established policies for sales and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction

Maintains in-depth knowledge of every product and strain in the store

Helps customers make the right choices by knowing how different methods of cannabis consumption affect our patients differently and suggesting dosage starting points and upward titration for inexperienced patients

Ensures accurate use and maintenance of the Point of Sale (POS) system; Accurate and timely data entry of patient profiles in both the POS system and the state's electronic verification system

Ensures correct cash handling and discount application

Verifies proper paperwork, documentation, and ID for patients and caregivers

Maintains hard copy files (as required)

Assists in verifying order deliveries for accuracy

Understands and follows all security measures and safety compliance policies

Maintains an organized and clean store

Maintains an accurate and complete visitor log

Maintains open communication with the management team and other coworkers

Communicates to management any employee issues or patient situations that could compromise patient care or company compliance to legal and internal standards

Provides any necessary support to the management team to ensure retail store operations run smoothly, properly, and in compliance with the applicable rules and regulations, including, daily activities, maintenance, and patient information for any reported issues and/or complaints

All other job duties as assigned

Qualification:

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 2 years of retail experience

Superior customer service skills and phone etiquette

Point-of-Sale (POS)/cash register experience with speed and accuracy

Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and email

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage high stress situations, and be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it

Ability to communicate clearly and accurately

Must comply with state regulations and guidelines

Minimum of 21 years of age

Must possess a valid driver's license or state ID

Must pass any and all required background checks

Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
