METRC Tech I’s in the METRC Department are responsible for completing all assigned tasks as assigned by the METRC Manager. Accurate Data entry into the Metrc system and knowledge of Track and Trace. Cycle counting plant inventory and good knowledge of basic Math. Good documentation skills and some physical agility (for cycle counts) are both a must!


Data entry into METRC system.

Cycle counting of plant inventory.

Check in with morning lead to receive daily direction.

Follow directions when assigned a task

Checking in and out with leads when going to and from breaks

Adhering to all company policies·

Other duties as required.


Must Have experience working in METRC

Prefer experience with doing inventory counts

Must be coachable with the ability to learn new tasks quickly

Ability to work well with a team while demonstrating a professional and respectful demeanor towards others

Experience working in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment is a plus.

Strong attention to detail

Accurate data entry

Must be motivated, focused, and have a strong work ethic

Ability to adapt to change and shifting priorities

Must have a California ID or Valid Driver's License

Ability to pass a DOJ Live Scan

Must be 21+ years of age

Education and/or experience – Must have data entry experience. Any experience using METRC is a plus.

Language Skills – Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, customers, and the general public. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.

Reasoning Ability – Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, and/or verbal form.

Required Technical / Other Skills / Licenses – Must have a valid California ID or Driver's License. Ability to pass DOJ Live Scan. Must be 21+ years of age. Must have knowledge of METRC system.
