Summary

The Marketing Specialist will help develop, execute, and monitor marketing programs across a variety of channels. Their work includes researching the market, analyzing trends to help define the organization's marketing strategy, and providing advice as to how to best reach the target market. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for sending out Planet 13 related marketing messages to its audience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Helps develop the creation and production of sales, marketing, and packaging materials.

Responsible for sending out Planet 13 related messages to include daily text and email blasts.

Promote brand awareness through marketing campaigns for our different brands.

Ability to collaborate and work alongside Planet 13’s Graphic Designer to execute marketing campaigns.

Oversees advertising schedules and placement.

Execute goals in our marketing channels to better reach customers.

Publish media articles on our Website for Investors.

Help bring in influencers/celebrities for media opportunities to help promote our brands and store. Oversee all affiliate programs that helps with sales for Planet 13.

Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned.

Plan and execute partnerships from sponsorship opportunities.

Ability and willingness to travel when needed to additional Planet 13 locations.

Helps prepare for involvement in community organizations and events.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years’ marketing or advertising related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
