About the role We have an opening for a full-time Growth Marketer. We’re looking for a data-driven, outside the box thinking growth executor to find and pursue new opportunities for acquiring and converting customers. You’re equal parts left and right brain, someone who’ll drum up “it’s so crazy it just might work” experiments and then with ruthless precision slough off what doesn’t work and double down on what does. Your day-to-day is beating yesterday, and constantly pushing yourself and your teammates for 10x growth. You’ll work intimately with our CMO, Creative Director, Marketing Director, and other executive level team members to turn Nugg Club and the subscription category we’ve created into a dominant force in the California market (and then beyond). Please note: this role involves both tactical ideation and execution. This is a role for doers who want to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty.

Here’s what we expect from you - Do whatever it takes to beat yesterday and setup success for tomorrow - Create and implement processes for finding and pursuing growth opportunities; you’re constantly testing new channels, features, optimizations, and ideas to achieve our growth goals - Develop a proof of concept for new channels, expand them as they show ROI - Constantly be testing new copy, creatives, intervals, frequencies, and other aspects of how we engage with customers to improve funnel conversion and improve referrals - Help implement systems to constantly learn more about our customers, product, and channels - Collaborate with marketers, engineers, designers, and data analysts to create a culture of high throughput experimentation - Be our team’s internal champion for traditional growth constructs; evangelize idea creation, prioritization, hypothesis generation, data collection, analysis, and systematization of learnings across the organization

Your qualifications - You’ve been part of taking a tech-enabled consumer product to market and scaled it successfully - 5+ years experience in a growth/marketing role at software / DTC / e-commerce startups - 3+ years working within a cross-functional team of engineers, marketers, designers, data analysts - Excellent (and clever) written and verbal communication skills - You love working in a fast-paced, remote-work environment - You’re a creative, outside the box thinker; bonus points if you’ve scaled a product in a regulated market (mega bonus points if it was in cannabis)

Compensation - $80,000-110,000 base salary with performance based bonus compensation
