Job Title: Fulfillment Specialist

Department: Distribution

Position Type: Exempt/ Full-time (45+ weekly hours)

Salary/Pay: $18/hour for the first 90-days

Reports To: Distribution Manager

Travel Required: Minimal travel between Verdes facilities within the state of New Mexico

Location: M1

Job Summary:

The Fulfillment Specialist will be responsible for fulfilling Verdes’ store and wholesale orders. Attention to detail is critical to fill the orders accurately, assign orders to the correct location, and prepare orders for distribution by the corresponding deadlines. The Fulfillment Specialist is also responsible for identifying and communicating when inventory is low on vendor products and office supplies. The Fulfillment Specialist will work cross-functionally, primarily within distribution, but also in other back-of-house departments as business needs.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions :

  • Check-in for orders that need fulfillment to store and wholesale; fulfill orders with product on hand
  • Assist in finishing products in production departments, such as labeling, packaging, and support kitchen and lab staff
  • Sub lotting products from larger batches for individual orders and assigning to transfer manifests
  • Barcoding products for distribution
  • Receive products digitally and confirm manifest matches the products being received
  • Receive products physically, off-load products, and confirm manifest matches the products being received, and store in the proper location with FIFO consideration.
  • Regular inventory audits
  • Manifest and transport products to retail locations, as needed. Follow pre-determined routes and delivery schedules. Maintain a safe driving record.
  • Complete transportation logs and other documentation as necessary. Follow DOT and RLD regulations and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications and Educational Qualifications :

  • Previous experience with cannabis preferred
  • Previous experience with distribution preferred
  • Experience with inventory audits preferred

Physical and Emotional Requirements:

  • Repetitive motion and dexterity

  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time and transition from sitting to standing several times per day

  • Must be able to bend/stoop/climb/reach

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs, unassisted

  • Must be able to tolerate a reasonable amount of work stress


Compensation DOE; 45+/- hours/wk., required Mon – Fri, some weekends and holidays, 8:00am to 5:00pm (exact schedule to be determined with supervisor)
