About the Role

We’re looking for a Digital Content Producer to join our Marketing and Consumer Insights team. The Digital Content Producer will work with a mix of text, images, videos, and other media to create digital content on OCS B2B and B2C channels. They will work with content managers and designers to oversee development of a variety of digital campaigns including web pages, site development, videos, and other media. Their duties include gathering stakeholder requirements and assets, and liaising with internal teams including content managers, designers, UX and development teams to build pages and develop new sections/templates as required.

About Your Day

  • Manage the creation of new pages and content-related builds to OCS sites, including learn.ocswholesale.ca, Doing Business with OCS and, when required, OCS.ca
  • Organize and maintain a library of updated multimedia assets
  • Create forms that support information gathering and help facilitate the creative and content production cycle
  • Draft workback schedules and timelines for assigned content-related projects to meet production deadlines
  • Advise, educate and support staff on the appropriate use of various digital channels
  • Package a range of content to engage and educate audiences (i.e. articles, e-blasts, social posts, slide decks, brochures, briefs and media releases)
  • Optimize copy and landing pages by working closely with the Content and Creative teams to ensure all content upholds the OCS brand
  • Ensure consistency in tone of voice and visual appeal in digital communication
  • Source requirements for content development with other departments, Digital and IT teams and external partners
  • Initiate partnerships with Digital teams to explore tools and add ons to optimize content
  • Utilize analytics and reporting to evaluate digital strategies and inform recommendations to increase reach and engagement.
  • Participate in the monitoring and measurement of the impact/performance of content

About You

  • Completed Post-Secondary education in Communications and/or Marketing
  • 2+ years of experience working in digital content management or related field
  • Experience using eCommerce platforms (i.e. Shopify or WordPress)
  • Strong creative writing skills including the ability to write effectively for different channels
  • Strong editing and proof-reading skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent business acumen with strong verbal and written communication skills
