JOB DESCRIPTION – DELIVERY DRIVER

DEPARTMENT SUPPLY CHAIN

REPORTS TO: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Deliver Driver will have delivery driver and customer service experience along with some product knowledge of cannabis. The driver will be responsible for driving product to and from delivery locations, professional communication with customers and internal employees, and strong attention to detail to complete delivery orders and hold to production/delivery schedules.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Drive product from DUG location in Desert Hot Springs to dispensary and distribution locations across California including Northern California and surrounding Southern California areas.
  • Become familiar with the products of flower produced.
  • Reviewing daily tasks to see what needs to be completed for the day.
  • Checking in with department lead to get personal daily agenda and delivery routes
  • Follow directions when assigned a task
  • Conduct over all cleanliness when performing tasks and after tasks have been completed.
  • Checking in and out with Operations Manager when taking and leaving product.
  • Adhering to all company policies
  • Other duties as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:**

  • Provide customer service, and professional communication with all customers and internal employees.
  • Time management and ability to achieve production goals and deadlines
  • Ability to work well with a team while demonstrating a professional and respectful demeanor towards others
  • Experience driving scheduled routes, and adaptability to change or update routes as needed
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be motivated, focused, and have a strong work ethic
  • Ability to adapt to change and shifting priorities
  • Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a DOJ Live Scan
  • Must be 21+ years of age

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

Follows up on complaints, questions, and concerns that come to the department. Responds to customer needs in a timely and efficient manner. Develops and promotes teamwork and cooperation amongst colleagues and employees. Incumbent must be flexible to changing policies and procedures, as well as varying deadlines.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Two years of previous Delivery Driving experience. Must have cannabis experience and knowledge. Previous experience in customer Service.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to follow written directions and articulate questions in regard to accurate task performance and execution. Ability to log information and data collection in written form. Ability to create and submit reports regarding task progress and inventory numbers.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL / OTHER SKILLS /LICENSES:

Must have a California Driver's License. Ability to pass DOJ Live Scan. Must be 21+ years of age. Must have clean driving record and have ability to drive DUG company vehicle.
