Supervisor: Director of Accounting and Finance

The Capex Project Manager (CPM) is responsible for gathering and tracking costs for any approved CAPEX purchase. The Capex Project Manager will lead the function towards the vision of high-performance team culture and drive change management initiatives to continually improve the planning cycles, internal processes, project management discipline, budget planning, and reporting of all critical projects.

Responsibilities:

Communicate with construction project managers to collect all proposals and contracts for each project

Input information into the construction budget tracking spreadsheet for each project

Make sure "committed costs" for each project are as accurate as possible and include all expected costs. This may require reviewing construction drawings, seeking out FFE lists from design, and working with the pm, IT, and security to collect any anticipated spending associated with a project.

Stay up to date on knowledge of construction status and change orders

Update spent to date for each project

Audit list of projects to ensure all spend is tracked

Provide reporting on remaining financial needs as necessary

Requirements:

Pay app accounting knowledge is preferred

Construction knowledge would be preferred

Experience with Excel, google docs, and smart sheets is preferred

Six Sigma qualification a plus

Ability to effectively lead change and work collaboratively in a team environment

Organization and the willingness to investigate for answers to improve the current tracking process

Possesses strong communications skills at all levels

Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and improve existing processes/programs

Ability and willingness to travel as needed.

Working knowledge of the cannabis market is a plus, but not required

Must be at least 21 years of age

Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check

Salary will be commensurate with experience. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available ?after hours? if an emergency should arise.
