The Role

We are looking for an exceptionally motivated Master Data Analyst to be part of a highly visible, strategic team focused on aligning strategic objectives with tactical demands. This role will be responsible for the business aspects of master data creations and maintenance in accordance with established standard operating procedures.

This role will collaborate with multiple departments throughout GTI to ensure data continuity and to maintain master data standards. This role will function as the master data knowledge resource while ensuring the business understands best practices regarding master data content and master data systems along with workflow tools used to request additions and changes.

Responsibilities

  • As primary point of contact, executes master data creations and maintenance in accordance with established standard operating procedures, templates / mapping documents and service level objectives
  • Uphold master data standards by routinely completing integrity checks and validating/ cleansing data
  • Complete data audits to ensure adherence to corporate and business rules, naming conventions, completeness, etc.
  • Function as a master data knowledge resource by helping business users understand best practices regarding master data and the process for requesting additions and changes
  • Work with Manager to understand rules and data setup for new requirements due to system enhancements, process improvements and / or business rule changes
  • Work with the Green Thumb business and IT teams to collate existing legacy data that needs to be converted and uploaded to the new solution while collaborating with the functional and IT teams to convert this available data into formats and content as required for the new solution. This includes current open data and historical data, where available and all master data needed
  • Provide cross-training / shares knowledge with teammates to build skills across the master data team
  • Continuously improve knowledge of master data to better understand how data elements are used both technically and by the business
  • Provide timely and accurate information to incoming master data requests
  • Participate in the business requirements and configuration workshops and familiarize / learn the business process and the related solution configurations for the global template to be used for rollout of the solution
  • Train the business user group on use of the new solution as per the documented business process and configured solution
  • Support the definition of the business processes through documentation, creating standard operating procedures and process flows
  • Provide day-to-day functional support to the user group to resolve issues, provide clarifications, escalate to service / solution provider as needed and be the initial point of contact, while taking ownership of the solution at Green Thumb
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to meet business needs
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses, special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree with specialization in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or Business Management
  • 1-2 years experience utilizing/standardizing master data in a customer focused environment
  • Strong data entry skills
  • General understanding of CPG, Retail, Wholesale and Supply Chain functions and processes
  • Preferred: Experience in MS Dynamics F&O or similar ERP system
  • Business process analysis and mapping skills along with excellent documentation skills is required
  • Self-starter with high motivation and passion to thrive and adopt in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to assess and understand details of work product(s) or related business information
  • Customer-oriented, ability to self-manage and take ownership
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills

  • Planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications and collaboration tools like Word, EXCEL, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams
  • Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information
  • Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies and procedures of Green Thumb

Additional Requirements

  • Must pass any and all required background checks
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
  • Must possess valid driver's license
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry
