  • Comply with established provincial, local and company policies and procedures (CANSELL CERTIFICATE & POLICE REFERENCE CHECK)
  • Staying up-to-date with new products, strains, changes in law, and industry trends in order to provide the highest level of customer service
  • Educate customers about a variety of cannabis products including flower, edibles, and concentrates, providing information on cannabis products based on patient needs/requests
  • Advising customers on proper safety measures to follow when consuming cannabis
  • Maintain and use completely and accurately (POS) and METRC systems for all in-store, online, and phone orders
  • Handle completely and accurately cash and discount application
  • Verify proper paperwork, documentation and ID of all customers

Requirments

  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude, team-oriented and disciplined work ethic
  • Detail-oriented; able to stay organized and on task in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous retail cannabis experience strongly preferred
  • Experience handling cash transactions and maintaining a balanced drawer
  • Ability to perform to sales goals and team goals
  • Customer service experience in a retail environment
  • Understanding of basic cannabis and OCS cannabis preferred
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 19 years of age
  • Must pass any and all required background checks
  • Must remain compliant with all province and company rules and regulations
  • Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds (100 pounds with assistance). This job function may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching
  • Valid CANSELL, police reference check, and 3 references required to be presented if interview is requested
