JOB SUMMARY

This position is a fast track to becoming a Project Manager in the cannabis industry. Being a part of legitimizing this industry means we need creative, energetic, self-driven team members as we grow our budding PMO.

You will be working alongside seasoned program management leaders in our corporate environment with the purpose of growing your skills to meet ever-growing project management needs.

You will work with a variety of organizations across the company and across North America. The projects vary in nature, but all require a balance of structured PM discipline and creative problem solving with respect for our start-up culture.

This role will report to the SVP of Portfolio Management and will support the Program Lead by helping to build a best-in-class PMO with an exceptional reputation for delivering on expectations.

CORE JOB DUTIES

Track timeline and open items, sends updates and summaries.

Listen and collaborate to deliver win-win outcomes and solve problems.

Utilize excellent organizational skills by effectively managing tasks, conflicting work priorities, deadlines, and progress monitoring.

Report statuses with appropriate tooling, utilizing project data analytically to represent progress clearly.

Coordinate and facilitate meetings with published minutes.

Identify and articulate tactical risks and challenges.

and support process improvement for the PM discipline.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

Successful completion of Bachelor's degree or relevant military or business experience.

Minimum 0 – 3 years relevant project management and/or management experience.

A/PMP Certification a plus, else desire to become certified preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Self-starter and self-driven.

Impeccable organization skills and attention to detail.

Ability to multi-task and work on a wide range of projects.

Team player with strong ability to collaborate across roles to analyze operational efficiencies, implement creative solutions, and measure delivery results.

Microsoft Office Suite and O365 experience including Microsoft Office Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Addons.

Flexibility & adaptability - comfortable with ambiguity.

An ability to clearly present ideas and report-outs.

Accountability and a passion for project management.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Occasional as warranted by project work.

Frequency will vary depending on project requirements.
