The Role LeafLink seeks an Account Manager, Payments to join our growing team. You will work directly with our clients, our Account Executives, and various internal teams to drive our customers' success on LeafLink through the adoption of our payments solutions. Through your efforts, you will set a new standard on how the cannabis industry transacts and deepen the network effect on our b2b platform. In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships across all levels of LeafLink payments users within your book of business, from executive teams to day-to-day finance and operations operators. You strategize with them on ways LeafLink can improve and simplify their business operations, ultimately maximizing their revenue potential through our payments solutions. This role is highly collaborative, requires creative thinking, account management expertise, and a broad understanding of all product offerings and platform features on LeafLink with a deep focus on our financial services offerings. This role is highly collaborative. You will be working cross-functionally. You need to be an excellent communicator and proactive self-starter who is comfortable with change, enjoys a fast pace, and can juggle many tasks and deadlines. Responsibilities Directly responsible driving engagement with our payments products across your book of business, maximizing their revenue potential and driving operational efficiencies in A/R for your customers Effectively communicate the value proposition of LeafLink's payment offerings across all levels of each customer, from C-Suite to on-the-ground cannabis operators Ability to put together and analyze data to effectively strategize with C-Levels at cannabis brands and other LeafLink partners Understand market trends and competition within the FinTech and Cannabis spaces Work closely with our Sales, Marketing, Product, and Support teams to deliver exceptional client experiences and be the true voice of the logistics customer. Track and follow-up on high priority Product tickets to ensure resolution Track all customer updates, status changes, and touchpoints through Salesforce CRM. Maximize usage of all CS tools to their full potential to support positive customer relationships Identify opportunities to improve our current processes, tools, reporting, and documentation Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in a sales or relationship management role working with middle market or enterprise level companies 2 years working within financial services; experience working in the FinTech industry is a plus Direct experience managing or interfacing with C-Level relationships Experience in professional relationship building Must demonstrate the ability to understand and articulate various products related to loans, lines of credit, trade credit, factoring, treasury management and other financial services Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment that requires tenacity to exploit opportunities and a steady demeanor to handle challenges You are the poster child for startup hustle: change is your only constant, no challenge is too big, and no task is too small Self-motivated and excited by the potential to own what you do, you have the willingness to learn and adapt as needed Ability to work well independently as well as with other members of the team, both in person and remotely Excellent presentation and communication skills, are outgoing and sociable, and enjoy meeting new people Organized operator who executes on both internal and external responsibilities Knowledge of key project management concepts including phases, plans, deliverables, scope, and tasks Excellent verbal and written communications skills Proficiency within Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Salesforce is a must Benefits Flexible PTO to give our employees a little extra R&R when they need it Competitive compensation and 401k Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision) Commuter Benefits through a Flexible Spending Account A robust stock option plan to give our employees a direct stake in LeafLink's success LeafLink's employee-centric culture has earned us a coveted spot on BuiltInNYC's Best Places to Work for in 2021 list.
